Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Here I have written out my favourite restaurants and bars in Manchester, somewhere I know and love. I have grown up surrounding Manchester all my life and I just can't get enough. I love how many places there are to eat and drink with it's quirky places full of the most amazing atmospheres. I have shared with you my well loved favourites but will make sure to add in any exciting ones I come across in the future. I hope you enjoy!
Federal Café - This place I discovered after Megan Ellaby posted it on her Instagram (@meganellaby) and it is incredible! The best breakfast in Manchester! The only thing is it is very small and you cannot book so make sure to get there extra early (it's worth it!).
The Alchemist - I love The Alchemist for breakfast and my favourite thing is that you can easily order extras of everything! So reasonably priced and served until really late!
Moose Coffee - This is just another wonderful place that serve all day breakfast!! The food is so good and the atmosphere is super cosy. Perfect for a rainy day or a summer day sat out on the terrace. Again you can't book here and so make sure you get here with time to spare.
Breakfast

Lunch/Dinner
Tattu - This is my favourite restaurant in Manchester, I absolutely love this place! The food is absolutely incredible, and the décor is stunning. The cuisine is Asian inspired and if you're looking for a place for a special occasion, I would highly recommend Tattu!
The Ivy - Another one of my absolute favourites! I have visited the Ivy in York and London and Manchester is by far the BEST! It has the most idyllic rooftop bar too which is perfect for a before/after dinner drink, set with heaters and blankets for the cooler evenings.
Rosso - This is perfect for a special occasion, the atmosphere in here is more sophisticated but wonderful. Perfect for a family/friend gathering or even a date night! They have a really nice bar area too, perfect for a before/after dinner drink.
Gaucho - INCREDIBLE! This is an Argentinian Steak House and my god does it do the most amazing steaks! This restaurant is a little more on the pricey side but definitely worth every penny.
Grand Pacific - The décor in here is beautiful and the staircase is a perfect place for an Instagram photo. I love this place for lunch as the atmosphere is more chilled, however, in the evening this place is buzzing with excitement.
Bunny Jackson - Serves up soul food and great drinks coupled with live music and a chilled atmosphere. This place is very different to anywhere I have ever been but good for when you want some good old food that you'll get all over your face haha!
Rudy's Pizzeria - I have never actually visited this place but it gets recommended to me on the daily! It's meant to be one of the best pizza places in town. It's on my list to visit asap and I cannot wait!
El Gato Negro - A beautiful little Spanish restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. The food here is divine! It is a tapas type menu that is perfect for sharing with friends, family or your other half.
Dukes 92 - Such a great place for gathering with friends, the food here is gorgeous (especially the pizzas) and they have amazing grazing boards for sharing.
Fazenda - I just love Fazenda, it's incredible! The concept is basically all you can eat meat; however, it is executed so perfectly! It's just a wonderful experience that you have to try!
DRINKS
Albert Schloss - Such a fun atmosphere with live music always playing and people dancing on tables. I always have a fun night in here whether I just want to have a casual drink or I'm ready for a boogie!
Menagerie - Most famous for it's bath! It has incredible décor and is a very instagram-able spot. It also has amazing entertainment, especially on a weekend where it can get very lively!
Revs de Cuba - This place does the most amazing cocktails and always has the most fun/upbeat atmosphere on the weekend or even on a weeknight if that's more your vibe!
The Alchemist - I love this place for a chilled drink in a lovely atmosphere, there are a couple across Manchester which is great! It has an amazing periodic table of cocktails with many of them coming out smoking and potion-like.
20 Stories - I love this place for it's incredible terrace, always decorated for the weather from Igloos in Winter to gorgeous flower pods in Summer. The drinks are fairly expensive here and there isn't an extensive cocktail list, but the atmosphere is very chilled and lovely for date night or a night with the girls!
Grand Pacific - Mentioned this one above but wanted to pop it down here as it's great for drinks too!
Sunset by Australasia - Located in Spinningfields, this is probably one of Manchester's most instagram-able bars, full of pink and gold décor and amazing cocktails.
Dukes 92 - Mentioned this one above but this one is great for drinks in the Summer as it has a huge terrace outside which is a major sun trap!
The Oast House - Definitely more of a favourite for the Summer months rather than the Winter as it is mostly outdoors but it always has different events on which are almost always free to enter. Such a good atmosphere with live bands always playing!
